Overall, it's best to be a returning customer at LEGOLAND Windsor this year. As we predicted last month, the standard LEGOLAND pass has now been removed, but the Premium, now rebranded as the LEGOLAND Annual Pass, and Lifetime Annual Passes have remained at their 2011 prices, perhaps after large increases of up to 39% the previous year impacted sales. For the Merlin passes, the Standard Individual has also been held, but the others have had an increase of between 3.2 and 9.6%. However, this is based on the revised prices from mid 2011, with the increases rising to between 8.3% and 21.9% when using the original prices. For renewal, the discounts this year are 20% off for the LEGOLAND passes and 25% for Merlin passes.

However, there have also been decreases, with two days tickets going down 20.6% and 16.2% for adult and child/senior respectively. Whilst this could be been a part of an effort to get more people to come for two days after the launch of the hotel, it is likely that most customers of the hotel will buy their tickets as part of a package rather than individually. Day tickets have seen a rise of 4.3% and 9.6% for adult and child/senior, similar to the previous year’s rise.

As per last year, if you are looking for a saving, the best place to buy remains online via the LEGOLAND Windsor website, with standard 10% discount on day, two day and annual passes. However, there are currently larger discounts for group tickets, with 26% off the regular adult or child/senior rate for group of 7+ and 35% for groups of 10+.

In addition to the ticket prices, here is also a breakdown of parking and Q-Bot prices:

2011 2012 '11 - '12 +/-
Parking - Day/Standard Annual Pass £2.00 £2.00 0%
Parking - Premium Annual Pass £0.00 £0.00 0%
Preferred Parking - Day £10.00 £10.00 0%
Preferred Parking - Annual Pass £5.00 £8.00 +60%
Preferred Parking Season Pass - Day/Annual Pass £16.00 £25.00 +56.3%
Q-Bot Regular £15.00 £15.00 0%
Q-Bot Express £40.00 £40.00 0%
Q-Bot Ultimate £70.00 £70.00 0%

Parking has remained at £2, and is still free for Premium Annual Pass Holders. For preferred parking, the day rate has remained the same, with the annual pass rate increasing 60% and the season pass increasing by 56.3%. For Q-Bot, the off peak pricing has now been removed, with all prices held at the peak rate from 2011.

So glad I'm a pass holder. I had a feeling thevstandard bass would be leavingvas it was not noted in the sales. I expect the bold restriction for 2012 is only for old standard pass holders as it seems to have been stopped.

As for preferred parking, a total rip off now for both pass and non pass holders. I'm pretty sure the price was £6 last year and now it's £10.00
