The new collector bricks for the 2012 season have been revealed, with an Olympic theme being showcased across the range.

2012 Collector Bricks

This year, the system for distribution of the bricks sees a change: these four special bricks, featuring minifigs doing a sprint, hurdles, relay and winning, can be collected by visiting the park not just at special events, but instead frequently.

The bricks are being offered after 5, 10, 15 and 20 visits, with the visits having to take place from May. The number of visits will be calculated by the turnstile system, and visitors can collect bricks from the Annual Pass room where visit numbers will be verified. Bricks will be available on a first come, first serve basis and will have limited availability.

It will be a shame to say goodbye to the previous system, which worked well, but this sets a new and interesting challenge to the park's most regular visitors.
