Space Tower
Space Tower: an odd ride, but a lot of fun! For a little hard work (but not as much as you might think), you can be rewarded with some excellent views of the park.
What is it?
What does it do?
Once you've been strapped in, and the lap bar has been lowered, you're free to winch yourself to the top of the tower. You can then either hold onto the rope and stay there, admiring the commanding views of Miniland and beyond, or let go and near-free-fall back to the bottom.
Restrictions?
- Must be a minimum of 0.9m tall to ride
- Guests under 1.3m tall must be accompanied by an adult
- Upper body control is needed
Verdict?
Good fun with rewarding results. However, be warned that the queue for the ride can often go very slowly, especially since they added extra safety features such as stopping the tower's rotation whilst loading and unloading, and adding an extra seatbelt that can only be released by the operator. If the queue's short, give it a go, but it's probably not worth queuing for long.
